Olyfrin composition: the power of natural ingredients
Olyfrin contains natural ingredients - hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, lemon essential oil. Each of these components has its own beneficial properties.
- Hyaluronic acid is found all throughout the human body: connective tissue, epithelium of the respiratory tract, nasal mucosa. It is involved in the healing and repair of tissues. In addition, hyaluronic acid can inhibit adhesion (attachment) of bacteria. The efficacy and safety of hyaluronic acid has been shown in many studies involving children and adults with inflammation or upper respiratory tract infections.
- Vitamin E, or alpha tocopherol, is another natural component that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Vitamin E in nasal drops promotes faster healing of the nasal mucosa, relieves nasal breathing, and moisturizes. Topical application of vitamin E has not caused any serious adverse reactions, which meant that it has good safety profile.
